Riley, Ryan, and Gyr-Peregrine Falcon
Ryan Sandstrom: Ryan is the owner of the company and is skilled in landscape
design and installation. Ryan annually field tests prototype lawn care equipment
for Toro. His work with Toro has lead to a number of design changes and improvements
to Toro products prior to production and release of new product lines. Ryan holds
a BS in Technology Education and a BS in Automotive Engineering Technology. Ryan
has owned and operated a lawn and landscaping service for 14 years and managed
numerous landscape projects both small and large.
Bruce Sandstrom: Bruce is certified as a Professional Hydrologist by the American Institute of Hydrology. He holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology and a BS degree in Fisheries Biology, both from the University of Minnesota. Bruce has 35 years of natural resource management experience with the MN Department of Natural Resources and the MN Board of Water and Soil Resources. Bruce has extensive experience in wetland restoration, native seed mix formulation and residential drainage correction.
Rodney Hanson: Rodney has an AA Degree in Golf Course Management from Anoka Technical College and 8 years of experience in turf care at the Fox Hollow Golf Course.
Interests and Hobbies: Bruce and Ryan are conservationists and actively participate in outdoor activities such as nature photography, hunting, fishing, falconry, camping, and bird dogs. They are members of the Minnesota Falconers Association, Pheasants Forever, Muskies Inc., and North American Falconers Association.
